Board Vice Chairman – Charlie Conover

Profession:  27 years for Glendale Fire Department in California

Past Jobs:  6 years for City of Glendale, Cable Splicer/Lineman, US Medic

Three Goals for the District:

1. To assure that our firefighters receive the best training andequipment possible
2. To build new stations in Star valley and Tonto Village
3. To have an ISO rating in 2009.  (Also, to continue to supportMerging with local Fire Districts.)

2. Continue to foster and build strong working relationships with surrounding Fire Districts

1. Strive to keep our high level of service
2. Ongoing training, especially with other districts, for mutual aid
3. Continue planning to accommodate for future growth of the community

Product Manager for LAN Communications Systems, National Advance Systems

1. Insuring our “First Responder” capabilities & training are second to none
2. Upgrading our facilities in both Star Valley and Tonto Village
3. Expanding the business of “fire services” to reduce the dependence on public funding
